A local citizens’ initiative, which has long advocated for the bypass and is also represented on the Dippach municipal council, welcomes the start of the construction. They had already hoped to launch the undertaking in 2019 and thereby relieve pressure from Rue des Trois Cantons, which regularly experiences congestion due to the level crossing.
Construction is expected to last two and a half years.
