Luxembourg police responded to a reported burglary at a residential property on Rue Neuve in Diekirch on Monday evening. According to authorities, multiple items were taken during the incident.
Investigators quickly traced the suspect to the central railway station in Luxembourg City, where the individual was detained while in possession of stolen goods. Following standard judicial procedure, the suspect appeared before an examining magistrate on Tuesday afternoon by order of the public prosecutor’s office.
Police confirmed all recovered items have been returned to the affected homeowner.
