Supermarket chain Delhaize has issued a product recall for its “precooked chips” under the house brand due to an incorrect best-before date printed on the packaging.
The affected products display an expiration date of 13 May when the actual date should read 13 April. These items were sold in Delhaize stores between 29 March and 1 April.
Delhaize confirmed the products have been removed from all shelves and are no longer available for purchase.
Consumers who purchased the chips are advised to either consume them by the correct expiration date of 13 April or return them to the store for a full refund.
