On the afternoon of Saturday 24 August the 24 Heart Riders - the Danish Heart Association's cycling team - arrived safe home in Denmark after seven days and 1,036 km in the saddle, cycling through Luxembourg, Belgium, The Netherlands and Germany.
After a lap of honour or two the team was celebrated in the city centre of Slagelse by a huge crowd of family, friends and other supporters waving the Danish flag.
