The number of reported Covid infections dropped from 156 to 97 in Luxembourg between 27 October and 2 November, or a reduction of 38% compared to the previous week.
The concentration of the virus in wastewater has also reduced. In September, the dominant variants of the virus were XFG (49.2%) and XFG.3 (33.5%).
The number of flu infections detected in Luxembourg’s laboratories also dropped from 33 to 24 over the past week. Each case was influenza type A.
There were 35 cases of RSV, compared to 24 the previous week.
