A team of speech therapists, physiotherapists, neurologists, and occupational therapists will be available for support. Individuals with Parkinson's disease can get in touch via phone (+352 4411 6635).
The telephone helpline is free of charge and operational from Monday to Thursday 9am-11am. The helpline was launched ahead of World Parkinson's Day, which takes place each year on 11 April.
The ParkinsonNet network is aware of the fact that tele-consultations cannot fully replace physical appointments. They nevertheless hope that the helpline will provide answers to specific questions patients may have and offer assistance.
