Emergency services were called to Rue im Will at around 11.30am following reports that a tractor had overturned, leaving three people injured.

Firefighters from Bourscheid and Nordstad attended the scene, alongside ambulance crews from Mersch and Nordstad, the Emergency Medical Assistance Service (SAMU) from Ettelbruck, and a rescue helicopter from Luxembourg Air Rescue.

Police later confirmed that the vehicle was a vintage tractor and that the accident had occurred on a forest track near Burden.

Initial findings suggest that the driver was travelling downhill when the tractor struck the side of the slope and overturned. The couple and their three-year-old child became partially trapped and sustained injuries.

The tractor was seized for examination, while the Police Measurement and Identification Service was sent to the scene to establish the precise circumstances of the accident.

One injured in Esch collision

The SAMU from Esch-sur-Alzette was called to a separate accident at around 3.20pm on Tuesday.

A motorcycle and an electric scooter collided on Rue Simon Bolivar in Esch-sur-Alzette, leaving one person injured. Firefighters and an ambulance crew from the municipality also attended the scene.
