Following the announcement on Saturday of the death of Paul Helminger, former MP, mayor of Luxembourg City, and head of cabinet in the government of former Prime Minister Gaston Thorn, the municipal authorities of the Luxembourg City announced on Wednesday morning that a book of condolence will be open to citizens at city hall on Thursday 22 April between 2 pm and 6 pm and on Friday 23 April from 8 am to 12 pm and from 1.30 pm to 6 pm.
A mass in memory of Paul Helminger will be celebrated on Friday in the capital’s Notre-Dame Cathedral.
