The National Roads Administration announced that the ramp from the A13 in Bettembourg towards the A4 in direction of Luxembourg City will be closed over the weekend. The Foetz, Pontpierre, and Leudelange-Nord interchanges towards the capital will also be closed.
Motorists will be redirected via the A13, A3, and A6 in order to get from Esch to the A4. Motorists who want to get to the A4 from the Pontpierre or Leudelange-Nord interchange must take the CR169, the N4, or N4A towards the Croix de Gasperich.
Preparatory work to close the motorway will begin a few hours before the official start of the shutdown, with traffic disruptions likely to occur late Friday afternoon.
