The beaches by the lake of Haute-Sûre, located in the municipality of Esch-sur-Sûre, are now closed until further notice. This decision of the aldermen council was taken on Friday morning. Fines ranging from €25 to €250 can be issued to anyone who does not respect the new measures, while the police will be present to patrol the areas concerned.
