The Remich section of the Democratic Party (DP) announced on Wednesday that Christophe Brandenburger will assume the vacant seat on the local municipal council. Although the next-highest vote-getter, Myriam Bonenberger, was entitled to the mandate, she declined it for legal reasons.
Jean-Marc Hierzig, a member of the Democratic Party (DP), passed away at the end of June after suffering a fatal medical incident while driving a tractor, leaving a vacant seat on Remich's municipal council.
