Following Pirate Party MP Sven Clement's decision to report and denounce numerous instances of people unjustly receiving the Covid-19 vaccine ahead of their turn to the prosecutor general, the latter has now decided to hand over the case to the public prosecutor's office.
According to information obtained by RTL, it can be expected that a preliminary investigation into the case will be opened.
Should the investigation then have legal consequences, it will most likely be for embezzlement and "unlawful acquisition of an interest" (prise illégale d'intérêts).
On Tuesday, Clement also commented on the case of the premature vaccination of Henri Grethen, president of Luxembourg City's Hospices Civils, stating that it has become apparent that without consequences this would happen again and again.
