The airplane, a Boeing 747-8F model, declared an emergency as it arrived to land at Luxembourg airport, the company confirmed in a statement.
An issue with the landing gears was reported, forcing the pilot to execute a ‘low fly past’ to check if the wheels were indeed down.
Fortunately, the aircraft was able to land safely, with emergency services on site. No injuries were reported.
The latest incident follows a similar one last week, which saw the runway at Findel briefly closed when another Cargolux plane reported an issue with its landing gear.
In April, a separate incident saw a Cargolux plane fail to land, suffering damage on its engine.
