As a result of the incident, the care home’s director Bernard Braun brought his retirement forward by a few months, allowing his replacement to assemble a new management team.
Raymond Coenen, who was previously director of a home in Dikrech, will take over as planned. The care home residents and staff were informed about the handover on Thursday last week, while their families were notified with full transparency last Friday.
