A car driving in the Luxembourg overturned several times near the Wasserbillig motorway stop. The police report detailed that the crash occurred at around 2.40pm. The driver of the car was driving behind a lorry in the entrance to the Wasserbillig motorway stop, but did not notice in time that the lorry had braked. Consequently, she crashed into the lorry and her car overturned .
The woman was unable to get out of her vehicle by herself after the collision, but was quickly freed. Whilst the police report detailed that the woman was taken to hospital for light injuries, the Grand Ducal Fire and Rescue Corps bulletin designated her status as severely injured. A rescue helicopter was dispatched to the motorway to assist.
