The accident occurred between Bissen and Colmar-Berg around 7.40am on Tuesday 2 November.
The cause of the accident is yet to be identified, but it appears as though the driver lost control over the vehicle on a sharp turn, which resulted in the vehicle being flipped on its side.
Police issued a warning that one lane of the N22 needed to be closed off as the road was cleared and made safe for transit.
