Between Monday and WednesdayCar burglaries reported in Contern, Moutfort, Oetrange, and Syren

In every case, the culprits stole valuables from inside the vehicle. The respective car owners all filed complaints and the police launched investigations. In this context, the police ask anyone who may know something that could lead to the identification of the perpetrators to forward their information to the Syrdall Police Department, either by calling +352 244 78 1000 or by writing an e-mail to police.syrdall@police.etat.lu

To prevent car burglaries, the police recommend the following:

• Do not leave valuables (cameras, mobile phones, bags, satnavs, wallets, cash, or credit cards) in your car, or at least make sure they are not visible from the outside,
• If it is an option, park your car in a garage,
• Always close your car, even for short amounts of time.
