Boulevard Roosevelt stretches from Pont Adolphe and Boulevard Royal to past the cathedral and the Place de la Constitution, but will undergo a major facelift as confirmed by Minister for Mobility and Public Works François Bausch.

To allow for the tram-related road works on Avenue de la Liberté to continue, all buses will be diverted via boulevard Roosevelt.

A new phase is currently taking place, with trees being moved from opposite the Justice quarter (Cité Judiciaire) to Boulevard Roosevelt. Accessibility for bikes will also be improved, and buses will go in both directions in the future.

The works are set to be completed in November.

It has also been announced that Place de la Constitution, by the Gëlle Fra, will become a no parking zone.

Bausch has confirmed a press conference will take place on 22 August to discuss further details.
