At around 4:30 pm, a fatal accident took place in Dondelange on the route de Luxembourg.
A 53-year-old motorcyclist from Hagen was involved in an accident and tragically lost his life at the scene due to his injuries, as reported by the police.
Emergency services from Kehlen and Mamer, as well as the Air Rescue helicopter, were called to the scene. The entire area was completely cut off to traffic until 8:30 pm on Saturday. The roads have since reopened to traffic.
As part of the investigation into the unfolding of events, the police are now seeking witnesses to the accident. Additionally, another motorcycle accident was reported at almost the same time on the CR132 between Syren and Moutfort. The motorcyclist sustained injuries and was attended to by the emergency services from Weiler-la-Tour and Luxembourg City.
