In Eich, on Rue de Muhlenbach, unidentified individuals broke into a building site. However, they left without taking any items.
In the early hours of Tuesday morning, an attempted burglary took place in Cessange. Initial reports indicate that an intruder forcibly entered a residence on Rue de Cessange, where they encountered the homeowner. The perpetrator fled the scene upon being discovered.
Investigations into both incidents are currently underway.
Additionally, on Monday afternoon around 4.40pm, a burglary was reported at a supermarket in Tétange. During the incident, a security guard sustained minor injuries. The police managed to apprehend the two suspects on-site.
One of the suspects was subsequently transferred to the Security Unit (UniSec) in Dreiborn, designated for juvenile offenders. Meanwhile, the second suspect was found in possession of a small quantity of hashish and was brought before an examining magistrate on Tuesday morning for further proceedings.
