At around 9am, police were notified of two intruders attempting to break into a property in Roedt. The thieves were trying to gain access via a balcony door but were caught in the act by the homeowner and promptly fled the scene. Shortly afterwards, a police patrol caught them, took their details and issued a warning.
Shortly before midnight, a trespasser was reported on the train track at the main train station in Luxembourg City. Police officers at the scene found a highly intoxicated individual who turned violent when they attempted to carry out checks. He was deemed to represent a danger to himself and others, and was duly taken into custody and given a medical check.
