EU CommissionBrussels sues Luxembourg over breach of firearms directive

RTL Today
The European Commission has decided to sue Luxembourg because the government has not fully implemented EU directives on firearms.

According to the Commission, Luxembourg had not fully transposed EU rules on technical specifications for alarm and signal weapons into national law.

The rules are intended to prevent these weapons from being converted into real weapons with bullets or pellets.

Luxembourg should have implemented this directive by January 2020.
