In the first incident, two unidentified individuals gained access to an apartment building on Rue du Chemin in Oetrange through a side window at around 8pm on Saturday.
From there, they entered a ground-floor flat. Preliminary findings suggest that no valuables were taken.
On Rue du Golf in Senningerberg, two private basement storage units belonging to an apartment were broken into overnight into Saturday. A suitcase was stolen from one of the units.
In a third case, one or more unidentified perpetrators gained access to a house on Rue de l'Indépendance in Bettembourg. According to initial findings, they had first tried to force a garden door.
When that failed, they smashed a basement window with a stone. They then searched the property and made off with jewellery.
Further investigations have been launched and the necessary official reports filed in all three cases.
In this context, police remind the public to consistently close and securely lock windows and doors when leaving the house, and not to overlook basements, garages or other entry points.
