Good newsAuthorities drop flooding alert as Moselle water levels decrease
The Water Administration announced on Saturday that the Moselle water levels have returned to more reassuring numbers.
The authorities published their estimates early on Saturday morning, after dropping the yellow alert for the Moselle at around 3 am. And with the drier, colder weather forecast for the next few days, the water level is unlikely to rise again.
Nonetheless, the authorities ask to stay vigilant, as other rivers remain at high water levels and the ground is still very wet. The forecast drizzle and sleet over the weekend only add to the need for caution.
