Shortly after 5pm, a pedestrian walking his dog in the Gare district was approached by a group of four men. Some tried distracting him with questions about his dog, while the rest attempted to steal his necklace. However, the man resisted and held on to his jewellery, which meant the group had to flee the scene empty-handed.
Around 6.30pm, a family walking through the City’s municipal park was attacked from behind. A group of three was responsible, and one of the victims suffered a punch to the chest. It took the family until after the attackers had already fled to realise that they managed to steal a golden necklace. The family thus filed a complaint and police launched an investigation.
