One of the drug dealers was caught redhanded on Tuesday evening on the Rue de Strasbourg. Police found that he was carrying heroin. The suspect did not react kindly to being searched, and bit one police officer in the finger. The officer sustained a minor injury.
On Wednesday around 3pm, another drug dealer was detained on Boulevard J.F. Kennedy in Esch after he selling cocaine to a woman. He had 12 further small bags of cocaine on him, as well as cash.
Once again the culprit did not go quietly, and one of the officers was head-butted and injured. It was revealed later that the perpetrator had already been expelled from the country and back to Italy earlier this year.
Both men were arrested and brought before the examining magistrate.
