At 7.30 on Tuesday evening, four children were riding two scooters on a path leading into Rue de la Mairie in Arsdorf. They encountered a cyclist travelling towards them, and in their attempt to move out of the way, the scooters rolled onto an embankment, causing all four children to fall off.
For some reason, the man riding the bicycle scolded the children, then carried on cycling without helping them.
The cyclist was aged between 50-60, spoke Luxembourgish and German, and was wearing glasses and shorts.
Atert police have asked that the man contact them on 244921000 or via email, as well as any potential witnesses.
