PoliceAppeal for witnesses after burglary in Dalheim

Thieves broke into a house in Dalheim at 1.10pm on Monday afternoon, escaping with valuables.

Although the residents of the house surprised the burglars during the break-in, the culprits were able to escape in the drection of Filsdorf. Police have not ruled out the involvement of a beige/grey Volkswagen Multivan, which was seen on Uespelterwee in Filsdorf not long before the break-in. In this incident, three young people were discovered on private land near a different house and climbed into the van following their discovery. A fourth person then drove the van towards Dalheim.

Intruder descriptions:

Three young people, two men and one woman, in dark clothing and wearing dark hats. One person carried a grey bag.

Further break-ins

A house on Rue Menager in Differdange was targeted by thieves between 11am and 3pm.

A café on Avenue Victor Hugo in Limpertsberg was also subjected to a break-in, with thieves taking cash, tools and food.

In Merl, cash and a laptop were stolen from a doctor's practice on Rue des Aubépines between 15 and 18 November.

Burglars also broke into a shop on Avenue de la Liberté in Luxembourg City over the weekend, stealing cash from the till as well as other items.
