The incident took place in a secluded street, used by pedestrians and cyclists, and located near the CFL sidings.
According to initial information from the police, the alleged perpetrator was “a young man with dark skin. He is about 1.75m tall and approached the victim speaking Luxembourgish”.
In this context, the police are now looking for witnesses to the incident. Anyone who witnessed the attack or has information is asked to contact the Diekirch Judicial Police, either by calling (+352) 244 80-1000 or by writing an e-mail to police.diekirchvianden@police.etat.lu.
