The substantial market price increase in petroleum products (+6.1% in one month) is one of the reasons for this trend, combined with the continued increase in food prices. The annual inflation rate rose to 7.4% in June.

In particular, the prices of petroleum products continue to increase. Diesel and petrol prices increased by 8.1 and 11.1%, respectively, in comparison to the previous month. The cost of heating oil increased by 5.8%.

The price index for food and non-alcoholic beverages was 112.11 in June 2021. It now reaches 119.71, i.e., an increase of +6.78%. The prices of bread and cereals (+8.4% in one year), meat (+11.1%), and fish (+11.75%) have skyrocketed, but these increases are nothing compared to that of liquid fuels, i.e., fuels: the price index rose from 118.43 in June 2021 to 241.79 in June 2022, i.e., an increase of 104.16%.

Over a year, only the prices of fruit (-1.41%) and shoes (-3.54%) have decreased.
