Officers involved in the search managed to arrest the two men, who matched the description of suspects seen wearing sweatpants, in the early hours of the morning.
The police also report a suspect who was apprehended in Mersch during the night to Tuesday, after items had been stolen from a car and were found with the individuals. The man, who was uncooperative according to officers, was brought to a detention center.
Several other houses were broken into, including in Reckange, where the perpetrator climbed in through a window and stole jewellery. In Hollerich, someone attempted to pry open a terrace door, but failed because the perpetrator was surprised by the residents of the house.
