13 new petitionsAmong abolition of compulsory voting and reduction of profit margin on mortgage loans
Thirteen new petitions are online as of Friday, which need at least 4,500 signatures by 20 October to be debated publicly.
The demands concern a wide range of issues, such as:
- The abolition of compulsory voting
- So-called dash-cams in cars should be legalised and the recorded material admitted as evidence
- During the first two years of obtaining a driver’s licence one should only be allowed to drive cars with a maximum engine power of 150 hp
- The minimum age for obtaining a lorry driver’s licence should be reduced to 18
- Banks’ margins on home loans should be limited
