With a drop of two cents, Diesel’s price will fall below €1.50. From midnight this Friday, diesel will be sold at €1.488 — which comes out to €74.40 for a full tank of 50 litres.
The price drop is less advantageous for motorists who fill up with petrol. A litre of SP95 goes down to €1.571 (-1.4 cents). A 50-litre tank will now cost €78.55.
However, it is the price of SP98, the most expensive option, which will decrease the most. Luxembourg stations will place SP98 prices at €1.672 starting this Friday. A full tank of 50 litres will now come out to €83.60.
On the heating side, the price of a litre of fuel oil will also drop by two cents and will be worth €0.951 from midnight — a 2,000-litre tank will now cost €1,902 to fill.
