Luxembourg and France have had to come to a somewhat extraordinary agreement as concerns remote working for crossborder employees. Up until now, French employees - according to the 2018 tax accord - were allowed to work from home for a total of 29 days. All additional remote work would be taxed in France.
The new accord decrees that all days worked since last Saturday and until further notice will not be included in the calculations. Luxembourg and Belgium came to a similar agreement on Monday.
Minister of Finance Pierre Gramegna said earlier on RTL this week that he was hopeful in terms of coing to a similar arrangement with Germany.
