Officers responded to reports of 30 disturbances and altercations during the night. In most instances, the situation had either subsided by the time the police arrived or could be resolved on the spot.

One incident occurred on Place Wallis in the City, where a patrol observed an altercation between two men - a man had grabbed another by the collar. It was found that one of the men involved was heavily intoxicated. He was then immobilised by the police and transported to the police station. However, at the station, the man continued to behave aggressively, shouting and insulting the officers. Due to his state, he had to undergo a medical examination before being transported to a detention center.
