Officers were made aware of a suspicious vehicle in Rodange late at night and proceeded to pull the motorist over. Upon failing a breathalyser test, the man was made the leave his vehicle and hand over his driving licence. He then acted aggressively and was arrested for disturbing the peace and posing a danger to himself and others.
Another car was pulled over for the same offence in Ingeldorf, where a second man lost his licence.
Police also reported break-ins overnight in Dudelange and Alzingen.
