Members and sympathisers of Amnesty International convened in Luxembourg City early on Monday evening to demonstrate and demand a definitive ceasefire between Israel and Hamas. They were joined by people from several partner organisations, including Médecins Sans Frontières (MSF), Save the Children, Oxfam, and Avaaz.

Spokespeople for the organisations underlined that innocent civilians die with each passing day of the war, which continues to exacerbate the humanitarian crisis in the region. They further pleaded for more international aid to be let into Gaza and for Hamas-held hostages to be released.

In conversation with RTL, Fernanda Pérez, director of Amnesty Luxembourg, stressed the need for continuous support from the international community.
