The incident occurred near the border (Dudelange/Zoufftgen), causing congestion in the affected direction. According to the Luxembourg Motoring Association (ACL), the vehicles involved have been moved to the roadside and both lanes are currently clear.
However, as of 3.30pm, motorists still faced a 10-kilometre traffic jam.
