Meteolux has issued a snow warning for the entire country, predicting up to 5cm of fresh snow, primarily expected in areas above 300m.

According to the national weather service, the alert runs from 3am to 3pm on Wednesday, with forecasts suggesting 1 to 5cm of snowfall, particularly in areas above 300m.

Temperatures will remain cold throughout the period. On Tuesday night into Wednesday, lows are expected to range from -1°C to 2°C. Wednesday will see a slight fluctuation, with morning lows of -2°C to 2°C, a slight rise to 1°C to 4°C in the afternoon, and a drop back to 0°C to 3°C in the evening. The sky will remain heavily overcast throughout the day.

The weather service advises motorists to exercise caution, particularly on roads in higher-altitude regions where the snowfall is expected to be most significant.
