Two people sustained minor injuries on Thursday evening after a small light aircraft experienced a failed landing at Findel Airport, affecting flights. The runway is now operational.

According to RTL information, the incident was confirmed by Luxairport CEO Alexander Flassak, who said it is assumed the aircraft had problems with its landing gear. According to early findings from the police, the pilot reportedly became unwell during the flight.

The runway at Findel had to be closed, resulting in delays or diversions until it was cleared.

The light aircraft needed to be towed away. The runway at Findel had to be closed, which led to delays and diversions on Thursday evening. The runway is now open again.
