The Steinsel fire brigade attended a property in Bereldange shortly after 12.30pm, following reports of smoke emanating from a garage.
At 2.15 pm, a kitchen fire was reported on Rue des Vergers, Ettelbruck, requiring assistance from the Nordstad fire fighters and a team from Colmar-Berg, as well as an ambulance.
Finally, smoke was observed coming from a flat on Place Leon XIII in Bonnevoie shortly after 4pm. Hesperange fire fighters were supported by colleagues from the capital in investigating the scene. According to witnesses, the fire was caused by an exploding deep-fat fryer.
All incidents resulted in material damage only.
