A man filmed himself entering the Stade de Luxembourg and wandering through secure areas, allegedly without authorisation, prompting questions about how easily the city-owned stadium can be accessed.

A Youtube video has surfaced showing a man seemingly entering the Stade de Luxembourg in Gasperich at night without authorisation, moving through restricted areas and even playing on the pitch – and doing so by simply jumping a fence, raising questions over how easy it was to access the stadium.

He is not alone. Someone accompanies him, filming everything for his Youtube channel. If the caption and upload time are accurate, the incident took place earlier this week, possibly on Wednesday night.

What follows feels less like a break-in and more like an improvised stadium tour, with the man casually dropping facts about the venue, including its opening year, how long construction took and who uses it. He wanders through different areas, points out the seat colours, briefly films an office with whiteboards and visible phone numbers, and even rides a sit-on cleaning machine inside the building.

The video repeatedly shows how little effort it takes for him to move through the stadium once he is inside.

RTL Today has contacted the police, the Ville de Luxembourg, and the Luxembourg Football Federation (FLF) for confirmation and clarification on the incident, as well as to address questions surrounding the stadium's security.

At the time of publication, police and Ville de Luxembourg had not yet officially responded to the incident.

However, in a written response to RTL Today, the FLF underlined that the stadium is owned by the City of Luxembourg and that the federation had not known about the video. The FLF explained that, on match days – when it rents the venue from the city – overnight security and strict access procedures are in place. They added that wider questions about the stadium's day-to-day security fall under the responsibility of the owner.
