Emergency services responded to three separate traffic accidents within a few hours on Wednesday, which resulted in at least four injured people.
The Grand Ducal Fire and Rescue Corps (CGDIS) was deployed to three separate road accidents on Wednesday, occurring in quick succession between late morning and early afternoon.
The first incident took place shortly before 11am on the B7 between Schieren and Ettelbruck, involving a collision between two lorries and a car. Two individuals were reported injured and were treated at the scene by paramedics from Nordstad and firefighters from Schieren-Colmar-Berg.
Just before 12.35pm, emergency services were called to a two-car collision at the Iergäertchen roundabout. One person sustained injuries and received care from despatched firefighters and paramedics from Luxembourg City.
A third accident occurred shortly before 1.30pm between the Howald tunnel and the exit for the Iergäertchen roundabout, where another two-vehicle collision resulted in one person being injured. Firefighters and paramedics from Luxembourg City again attended the scene.
