Within just a few hours, the Grand Ducal Fire and Rescue Corps (CGDIS) teams were called out to six separate road accidents across the Grand Duchy.
The series of incidents began shortly before 5.30pm in Huldange, where two cars collided, leaving four people injured.
An hour later, between Mondercange and Limpach, a car overturned and landed on its roof. One person was injured and treated by the Esch-sur-Alzette ambulance service.
In the Eschweiler area near Wiltz, another accident occurred at around 7pm on Friday evening, when a car crashed into a wall.
Shortly before 2am on Saturday, a motorist lost control of their vehicle and hit a tree between Noerdange and Elvange. The emergency medical service provided medical assistance at the scene.
Later that night, in northern Luxembourg, a car skidded into a ditch in Enscherange around 2.30am, and just before 3am, another motorist crashed into a building facade in Troisvierges. Emergency services quickly intervened to care for the two injured individuals.
