Homes in Fentange and Dalheim were targeted by burglars in two separate incidents on Thursday, prompting police investigations into the break-ins.

Luxembourg police reported a series of burglaries on Friday morning, detailing two separate incidents in Fentange and Dalheim that occurred on Thursday.

In the first incident, a single-family home on Rue de Bettembourg in Fentange was targeted in the afternoon. Authorities confirmed that the perpetrators forced their way inside and proceeded to ransack the rooms, though no specific items were confirmed to have been stolen.

A second break-in was reported on Thursday evening at a property on Rue de Waldbredimus in Dalheim. According to a police statement, the suspects are believed to have gained entry through a window. Preliminary reports indicate that several pieces of jewellery were stolen.

Investigations into both burglaries are ongoing.
