The Grand Ducal police and their Belgian counterparts conducted checks on trains between Luxembourg and Namur on Monday.

The operation, launched as part of a Benelux directive, sought to crack down on illegal substances and immigration. According to a statement issued by Luxembourg police on Friday, 11 people were stopped across four trains.

One of the individuals was found to be in possession of drugs. They were consequently issued with a caution and the substances were confiscated.
