A new shopping centre featuring a 7,000m² Cactus supermarket and 15 other stores will open in Esch-Lallange this October, the group announced.

The Cactus group will open its new multifunctional shopping centre in Esch-Lallange on 29 October, marking a significant retail development for the south of the country.

The €150 million complex will feature a 7,000m² Cactus supermarket, a dedicated Drink Shop, and a shopping arcade housing 15 stores. To accommodate customers, the site will include 800 parking spaces.

According to the group, the project is expected to create more than 150 direct and indirect jobs, with 50 positions based directly within the Cactus store. "We are proud to support the development of the city and to create a meeting point for all generations", stated Laurent Schonckert, the group's Director General.

Confirmed tenants for the shopping arcade include a diverse range of brands such as Cocottes, Oberweis, CK Fitness, Medi-Market, and Ferber hair&style. The centre will also host community-focused services, with offices for the Hëllef Doheem foundation and an "Enfant Roi" crèche.
