Buses will replace trains between Luxembourg City and Wasserbillig for three weeks starting 23 August, due to planned engineering works.

According to CFL, there will be no trains on the Luxembourg-Wasserbillig-Igel line from 1.30am on Saturday 23 August until 3.30am on Monday 15 September 2025.

The engineering works will affect national services linking Luxembourg City and Wasserbillig, as well as the cross-border RB87 services to Trier in Germany.

The RE11 train service from Trier to Koblenz/Düsseldorf will continue operating as usual. RB83 trains between Igel and Wittlich will also not be affected by the works.

CFL will organise a rail replacement bus service for the duration of the maintenance works. Further information can be found on their website.
