The national warning system LU-Alert will undergo another round of testing on Monday morning as part of ongoing efforts to fine-tune the platform.
At around 11am, residents in several central municipalities – including Walferdange, Niederanven, Schuttrange, Sandweiler, Hesperange and Luxembourg City – can expect to hear sirens and receive test SMS alerts on their phones.
The trial is being carried out by the High Commission for National Protection (HCPN) and is purely a routine check.
Authorities stress that no action is required from the public.
