On Thursday morning, drivers from the Belgian border were surprised to spot a number of trade unionists on bridges over the A6 motorway, promoting their upcoming joint protest set to take place on 28 June.
Members of the LCGB and OGBL gathered around Mamer between 6.30am and 8am on Thursday morning to promote the historic demonstration, which is set to take place in Luxembourg City on 28 June.

The two unions are planning to join together to better take Luc Frieden's CSV/DP government to task over issues such as the upcoming pension reform, amendments to Sunday trading hours, and collective agreements. On Wednesday, they announced plans to collaborate as a non-profit organisation to strengthen their voice in upcoming negotiations with the government and employers.
On 1 May, Nora Back, president of the OGBL, told a crowd assembled at Neumünster Abbey that she intended to provide a "united front that is stronger than ever". She called for increased democracy, social justice and solidarity, before announcing the march on 28 June.
